Denjo Goshin Ryu Karate Jitsu - The founding style of DKJ Martial Arts. Master Johnson is a 5th Dan in Karate, and 7th Dan Ju-Jitsu (NAKMAS). Trained and graded under Enoida Sensei, one of the original instructors to bring Karate to the UK in the early 1970's. Master Den Johnson teaches in and around Hayling Island, Hampshire, UK and in his time has graded in excess of 150 Black Belts. Previosuly taught at HM Prisons, Control and Restraint of Prisoners.
The DKJ Martial Arts gym can be located easily from Junction 11 Westbound on the M27, follow the signs for Gosport and the gym can be located in central Gosport. Alternatively the nearest train station is Portsmouth Harbour, where a short ferry trip will take you to within cycling distance of the gym. Unit B40, The Sanderson Centre, Gosport, Hants, PO12 3UL
Sensei Gareth Johnson
Qualified up to 2nd Dan Black Belt in Karate, Ju-Jitsu (NAKMAS) and Kickboxing (BFKKO). Fully licenced, and insured (via BFKKO/WAKO) . HSE 4 day First aid qualified. Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Checked. Qualified Karate Tournament Referee and Judge (NAKMAS). Qualified WAKO Kickboxing, Low Kick, and K1 referee and Judge (WAKO) . Competed in Kyokushin-kai (Knockdown Karate), Kickboxing, Thai, and K1 up to British level.
